Accepting that dreams are egotistical, does that mean that somebody with a big ego has less dreams than the norm?

This thought comes from my uni studies about psychoanalysis and that the dreamer is always present in their own dream; this presence being our individual ego. Those who have big ego’s in the waking world, means they are not dreaming enough to drain their egotistical ways whilst asleep, therefore possessing more ego in reality.
