Currently sitting in the kitchen of a woman named Albea of which we met in the street (she’s like 50 or something) and she invited us into her home to say the night as we couldnt find any other vacancies in any hostels.
We got a bus here from Santander which took about 3 hours ad started walking aimlessly towards nothing in particular. Like I said before, we found Albea after going to like five hostels and she invited us to stay so we did. We went for a swim in an amazing beach in the arvo and walked up to a big ass jesus that looks over the city got some sneaky snaps. We then had our first beers at a place called Atari. It was there that we ate cows cheek which was recommended to us. Was hands down the tastiest thing I have ever eaten. I’m never eating any other meat. Set us back four euros so we got several.
Had many many beers and on an empty stomach it meant the night was fairly cheap. Eddie saw a guy who was a dead ringer of Mitchell from modern family (was a homus and everything) and because he was a bus about tour guide we just hung with him and the birds he was with so we knew where we should go out. We went to someplace which had 2 bevvys for 3euros and stocked up on that. Can’t remember much after but I do remember meeting some English speaking peoples. On my way home I met a Ukraine girl and fell momentarily in love. I did my best to convince her to come and live in Australia and I did an alright job of it. Had an absolutely amazing set of pins on her.
Got back to the place we are staying at and I can’t actually remember what time we got home but I woke up this morning at 10am with Albea cooking up a storm in the kitchen making us the tastiest feed in the world. It was an omelette with some sort of chorizo in a baguette. Deadset orgasmed on my mouth hole.
We are supposed to go to a campsite tonight but at the moment it is pissing down with rain and we are enjoying Albea’s company. It’s funny how we speak no Spanish and she speaks no English yet we are still able to communicate to each other over coffee and breaky whilst she has a smoke with her breakfast.
If none of that made sense, it’s because we had too many beers last night. I’m never coming home, it’s too good over here
