A town nestled by a lake in a jungle. Of course there is a volcano. It would be inconsistent of Central America to not have a volcano nearby.

A late night adventure to a local natural hot spring river, many a toe was stubbed trying to navigate the rocks in the pitch black. No photos were taken because, well, you simply couldn’t see a thing.

A last ditch effort to try and soak up some R&R in a local hot spring resort as this month of travel has offered nothing but activities and involvement. It has been great but might need a holiday after this trip.

On to San Jose…!
