Life, The Universe and Everything

I’ve never been much of a ‘space’ kind of guy but I appreciate that traveling to space has been the dream for many people since they were sending asteroids out of their black hole and into their nappies.

Only a few years back did I find myself sitting in a class at university called ‘Life, The Universe and Everything’. It was the last bit ‘and Everything’ that captured my interest in that subject. I lasted only half way through the first lecture discussing light years and me picking up on the fact that every single thing we see has already happened because of the time it has taken for the light to reach our eyes for us to see it. I couldn’t deal with that. I walked out with sweat in my tear ducts and my mind scrambled eggs as I dragged my dropped jaw to Student Enquiries to change subjects.

Between a profound love of traveling and my recent stormy movie night viewing of Interstellar, I’ve succumbed to an interest in Space. Below is one of the short documentaries that has left me wanting to continue my exploration of the world and introduced me to the exploration of existence outside of Earth. I’m only twenty years behind everyone else, but I want to be an astronaut or visit Space for a few hours at the very least. If not for any other reason, have a geez at the pictures of the planet you’re currently watching this from – inception.
