I have been to London four times on this trip. I cumulative days I have spent in this city is equal to one week. The amount of days spent in the glorified version of Sydney in the last 18 months is six weeks. I’ve done all the touristy things and I needn’t the urge to revisit them.
Back in high school, there was a girl who got on her knees in front of me every day at school. Her locker was below mine. Her name is Georgie.
Georgie is spending three months doing the backpacking thing and so when I found out she was in London the same time as me, we couldn’t not catch up.
From Victoria’s Secret to watching the musical, Wicked, the Scallywag felt as though he had misjudged a situation. It involved the Wicked Witch of the West. The musical told the story of why the witches and why they are the way they are. It showed that there are two sides to every story. The Wizard of Aus always thought the Wicked Witch of the West was a bee with an itch but in actual fact, she was just misunderstood.
Dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Italian Kitchen in Piccadilly with espresso martinis was the perfect way to end this trip. Nothing short of perfection, the food, the beverages and the company illustrated how to be a Suitcasing Scallywag.
Once again I’ve been incredibly fortunate to be able to do such travels around the globe. I take none of this for granted including you as the reader. Whether you read some, none, all or just come to my websites to look at the pictures or for procrastination, I appreciate your time in reading to my stories. I love being able to share the world from my perspective and I hope to continue to do it.
I have no plans booked in the near future but regarding my history of adventure over the past two years, I’m pretty confident you’ll be exploring the world with me. As always I will continue blogging as frequently or infrequently as anything interesting happens in my life
