The first annual holiday to Santa Margherita, just moments around the corner from the port of Portofino. There was not one single moment of this place that wasn’t impressive.

From swim spots, to architecture, to the amount of wealth both on land and in the water, even the natural vista were divine. A walk (actually a hike) from Santa Margherita to Portofino and up through the national park to San Fruttuoso caught the Idiots off guard. Whilst being warned via communication from Sydney that it was a hike, boardies/denin shorts, slides and linen shirts was not ideal hiking kit. But the show had to go on.

There’s not a whole lot that went on except trying to keep our jaws off the ground as we were constantly in awe of everything. In this case, a picture certainly tells a thousand words.
See you next trip, Portofino !
