RetEYErement

After 60 years of “doing the right thing, trying to do things for other people”, my grandfather Leslie Ryman has retired from optometry. The man has been taking care of the eyes of the peninsula in Manly since he was 18 years old and his family couldn’t be any prouder for his efforts. The willingness to help any person that walked through the door even until the very minute the doors were shut for good is very much admired. No doubt he will continue to assist any person in need as he continues on with his 54 year commitment with the Rotary Club of Manly, as well as helping people not just to see with their eyes but see with their hearts and minds. Grandpa modestly quotes in the Manly Daily “I’ve had a good life”, but many others beg to differ that his life has been and will continue to be great !

We’re all proud of you Grandpa
