Every year Australia Day involves sun, sand, surf, tinnies, barbies, mates and Triple J’s Hottest 100 – the top 100 songs of the previous year voted by the public.
Voting closes the week before Australia Day and for many Australians, those seven days are the longest of the year. A group of blokes cracked onto this and decided to assist the Australian public by providing the service to reveal a sneak peek of what the Hottest 100 might be, using a very small sample provided to them by social media. They call it the Warmest 100 with a warning of a potentially high margin error.
Nobody cares how wrong they are though because regardless of the accuracy of the Warmest 100 compared to the Hottest 100, they’ve still provided a juicy playlist to make you eargasm all day and night long.
