Our last destination in Croatia before Hungary. Our only reasoning for stopping off in Zagreb was to break up the trip from Split to Budapest. We didn’t plan to stay long to look around and the way the bus and train schedule fell into place meant we weren’t really able to. Bus from Split arrived late evening and train to Budapest left early morning.

From what we did see of Zagreb, it seemed just like a normal capital city with nothing too exciting happening.

Bit of a pointless post really, but considering we’re writing about every city, we can’t have any exceptions regardless of whether something interesting occurred.
